Cormier Custom Homes is a reputable family-owned construction company specializing in high-end residential construction. With over 70 years of combined industry experience, brothers Bernie and Francis Cormier are second generation home builders. From an early age both were instilled with a strong and honest work ethic. Under the mentorship of their father Oscar, the brothers started in the business from the ground up, working a variety of roles throughout the years, including sitework; landscape; administrative; sales; and project management, as their father developed real estate subdivisions throughout Massachusetts. Upon Oscar's passing in the early 90's, Bernie and Francis teamed up and continued their father's legacy. The brothers have since transitioned to new custom home builds and renovations across Eastern Massachusetts.

We were referred to Cormier Custom Homes by various friends in town. After meeting with builder Bernie Cormier, also a Boxford resident, we were impressed with his willingness to listen to our needs, as well as his suggestions we should consider during the building process. Our home was truly a custom design that was slated for an 18-month completion. Even with the weather constraints, Cormier Custom Homes made it possible to move into our home within 15 months. Mid-way through the project, Bernie’s brother Francis teamed up to assist. On the job-site daily, the Cormier brothers monitored theprogress and quality of the workmanship. Several times during construction, clarification and updates were necessary. Collaborating with our architect, the Cormier’s dealt with these issues promptly. Bernie and Francis’ "hands on builder" attitude is quite impressive.

Upon completion of our home, the Cormier’s have continued to work at our property, completing our extensive landscape, pool, pool house, movie theater, and finished lower level including a wine cellar and entertainment room. The Cormier brothers ongoing commitment and passion for getting the job done right is the reason we continue to utilize their services. We had been working with an architect on a new home to be built in North Reading. We decided to have builder Francis Cormier review the set of drawings we had completed to date. Upon arriving at his private residence, located within a neighborhood of homes constructed by the Cormier brothers, Francis gave us a tour of his home. We were impressed with the unique floor layout and decorative detail within the home. Soon after that initial visit, we decided to scrap our original house plans and asked if he would be willing to construct our home based upon the home he had personally designed for himself. He said "no problem," and we have never regretted our decision. Cormier Custom Homes went the extra mile. Our home was modified to reflect our personalities and growing family. Their input and expertise was invaluable. We consider them very professional and now, personal friends. Building a home can be stressful experience. A major undertaking such as this can be full of challenges and surprises. We appreciated their personal attention and patience.
